Inspiration can come from interesting places

I recently went into town to hit up my local fabric shop. It was one of those days when you are happy to wander around the shops just to see what you can see. Thankfully the weather has been really improving recently. No more heavy winter coat.
The shoe shop on the corner really caught my eye. The brand is Joe Brown and I think I am in love. The colours remind me of Cath Kidson pretty and delicate wrapped up in a bundle of fun. However my first thought when seeing these shoes was not OMG I need to wear these, it was OMG I need to make a bear inspired by this shoe. The thought made me smile and then I needed to move on because I think the lady in the shop was awkwardly smiling back

Naturally I had to share my fabric haul, I'm mostly excited about the flamingo fabric. Who doesn't love flamingos? In the mean time I'm going to be on the lookout for silver and blue floral fabric so that I can make a bear inspired by these shoes.
